Staff Transport Reduces Emissions
In an effort to reduce our impact on the environment, we offer our staff bus transport from Rotorua to Waimangu Volcanic Valley.
Many of our staff live in Rotorua, a 20-minute drive to Waimangu Volcanic Valley. Rather than each of them making the drive to work separately, and as many of them work the same hours, we operate a bus each day to bring them to work and back home.
This initiative removes around 12 vehicles from the road each day, and over a year makes a massive impact on our emissions.
In addition to this, we have purchased newer, more efficient vehicles to further reduce our environmental impact.
This focus on transport is part of our wider commitment to sustainability.
