Refund Policy

Waimangu Volcanic Valley reserves the right to make a refund, if due, in the same manner and the same currency used to pay for your purchases. Online booking refunds may only be obtained from the Booking Agent (RTBS). Note that the RTBS transaction fee is not refundable.

No refunds will be granted within 24 hours of the arrival time or expiry of the ticket unless Waimangu Volcanic Valley cancels the activity due to waterway, road or weather conditions. Otherwise refunds are granted solely at the discretion according to Waimangu Volcanic Valley cancellation policy.

Faulty items purchased in the souvenir store will be fully refunded or replaced according to the Consumers Guarantees Act. Any damages that occurs after leaving the store are the responsibility of the purchaser.

If the purchaser changes their mind products purchased in the souvenir store can refunded or exchanged within 10 days of purchase granted they are in the same condition with all tags and receipts presented. Products purchased on sale or at a discounted rate are not eligible to be refunded or exchanged.

 

Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your bookings at any time prior to making full payment without any penalty, unless otherwise specified.

You may cancel your prepaid booking prior to 72 hours of the activity commencement and receive a full refund, excluding the non-refundable RTBS transaction fee.

You may cancel your prepaid booking between 72 and 24 hours of the activity commencement and receive a refund to the value of 50% of the total purchase, excluding the non-refundable RTBS transaction fee.

Any cancellations within 24 hours of the activity commencement will not be refunded.

Waimangu Volcanic Valley makes this web, including all information, files, text, graphics, software, and products available for your use subject to the terms and conditions set forth in this document and any changes to this document that Tomahawk may publish from time to time (collectively, the "Terms of Use").

Any unauthorized use of the Materials may violate such laws and the Terms of Use. This website might contain price information. The price advertised may not be the same price charged to the credit card account due to exchange rate fluctuations. This means that because we are based in New Zealand, we have to convert your purchase to New Zealand dollars at the exchange rate on the day it is processed. So if you purchase on this website, you will always be charged the equivalent in New Zealand dollars at the bank exchange rate of the day.
